Macadonia Mission to the Balkans
Valley Bible's Missionary in Macadonia
Exciting four day outreach

report from Rev. Mirco Andreev

Several years ago a young couple from our church in Shtip moved to Kochani to plant a church. The work has been hard but God has blessed them. They work mostly with Macedonians and another minority group called Karci (Carr’tsi)
At the beginning of September we had a four days outreach event. They were days of joy and hope.
We put up a tent for evangelism, and several different Evangelical Churches from Macedonia went there to help them. One of the projects was to help at the Medical Center department of Pediatrics.
Two of the evenings we had a concert with a Christian Brother Vangel. He plays 20 instruments. His program incorporates the message of the Gospel. There was also a special evangelistic event among women.
On Saturday there were different activities. Games for children, medical check up of blood pressure and blood sugar, cutting hair, distribution of literature, sharing of the Gospel message, sandwiches, sugar candies, drinks … and all of that for free! Saturday afternoon perhaps a total of1,000 came, hundreds of kids and we estimated around 450 adults came too. The message of the Gospel was given under the big tent and all of those present listened carefully and with openness to hear the Word.

Action Item: Please pray for these dear servants would be used of God to bring many to faith and His Church would be strengthened mightily.

first alert

First Alert

First Alert needs your participation in two ways.

FIRST: On Tuesday, October 18th at 1:40pm come to San Francisco City Hall Room 250 to be a silent presence of support for First Resort. This is the vote that counts! Please note the room change to Room 250!

San Francisco Pregnancy Care Centers (Alpha and First Resort) have been targeted by City Hall for our work to give women a choice other than abortion. The so called “false advertising” ordinance will be voted on by the full San Francisco Board of Supervisors. If passed, the ordinance will have the SF City Attorney tell us when and how to advertise our services. The real intent is keeping women from the help and support we offer. We believe women’s choices need to be protected.

There is no public comment at the meeting, but you are needed as a silent presence in the hearing room! Let's show a wave of unified support! At the previous committee hearing our turnout was strong and we made up the majority of the crowd! Let's keep it up and fill up the room. The room holds 175 people. Spread the word and bring friends!

If you're coming:

  1. Email Cindi at cindim@firstresort.net to let us know you're coming. If you don't we will be unable to inform you if the meeting information changes.
  2. This hearing is not the environment for folks to be making an anti-abortion statement. Please no t-shirts or signs with slogans or images. “Why”, you ask? Because our focus at this hearing needs to be single-minded on ensuring San Francisco women in unplanned pregnancies have options other than abortion clinics. If our work is curtailed or marginalized in any way it will cause more women in unplanned pregnancies in the City to be forced into having abortions due to a lack of information, resources or emotional support. We do not want women’s choices limited. To show the supervisors that we are unified, we will be wearing buttons with the slogan “Protect Women’s Choices”. Upon arrival, look for other supporters handing out the buttons.
  3. Please do not talk to the press; please allow your button to speak on your behalf.
SECOND: Pray for favorable response.

Let's stop this legislation and protect women and free speech!

Action Item: Pray for favor and a positive response with the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Attend this meeting if at all possible.
